Judy and I were talking about how much we love these sketches.  This is how I approach it.  Maybe it will help you get inspired to try.  First off, before I even see the sketch, I know which stamp set I am going to use.  It will coincide with the theme of my blog for that week.  Then I pick a color and look it up in my color coach.  That is when my juices flow.  Maybe that will help you a little bit.
